Hey Kids and Teens are you ready for summer??? Are you ready to read some super awesome books??? If you are then do I have a really fantastic challenge for you... I want to host your thoughts about the books you read this summer on this blog page that I made just for you! All you have to do is read a book and write a few sentence about it!
The challenge is to read as many books / chapter book pages as you can who ever reads the most pages will get a $50.00 dollar gift card of their choice and the most books of 100 pages or more will get $25.00 (for kids 12 and under 60 or more is allowed and if a kid 12 or under reads 20 of these size books a special prize will be given!)
The book has to be at least 100 pages to enter or 60 if under 12 :)
For the young ones who are 5 and under I encourage you to just read as much as you can, a special mysterious book will be sent your way if you read 20 books or more and have your parents help you write the sentences below! :)
So here are the steps:
1) Pick a book libraries are full of them.
2) Read the book.
3) Write a 3 to 4 sentence paragraph that does not give away the story, answering these questions:
Book Title:
Book Author:
Your FIRST name:
Favorite Character:
A super cool new fact:
Did you like it or dislike it:
What kind of reader do you think would like it too:
4) Have your parents email it to me @ kspdwrites@gmail.com
5) Check this blog page for the posting :)
August 1st pick your favorite of what you read and stay tuned for the book report instruction that I will email your parents! You must complete all of the steps to be entered for the Gift cards!
Winner will be announced on August 15th 2013!
